London Design Festival starts this weekend and there are a whole series of events across London, the hub being at the V&A. I was planning a lazy day in but Betty was grumpy and wanted to get out of the house so we attempted our third lecture of the week. Not as successful as the others, Betty got too chatty after 30mins so we left and she obviously was quiet from then on. It meant I could have a cream tea in the lovely V&A cafe though.
The V&A is very child friendly, like the other museums of South Kensington. We sat in the gardens and both had lunch in the sun. There are lifts and changing facilities making it very accessible. While there we also visited the free exhibition Disobedient Objects, the use of objects in political protest and change, and on the third floor, there is an exhibition of protest posters.
Baby friendly info:
The V&A is very baby friendly with lifts and changing facilities.
The cafe staff are also very helpful and they carried my tray to the till and table while I pushed the pushchair.
